As a long-time nature lover, I have been captivated by animals surrounding me since an early age.
For me, it is a pleasure to explore through Romanian wilderness searching for birds and mammals. It all started almost by chance on a trip in Retezat Mountains when I was young, which cultivated my passion for nature photography. I was amazed by the spectacular landscapes and the diversity of species you could see wherever you looked. That was the moment I knew I wanted to get to know more about wildlife, to explore further and further and to understand a little more about the surrounding nature.
Futher on, I got a degree on Marine & Natural History Photography in the UK, followed by studies in Ecology and Environmental Protection in my home country, Romania. On top of that, my area of interest also extends to tourism, hence I am certified as a tour guide too.
In recent years, my style has become more oriented towards naturalistic photography. The photos are a combination of flora and fauna, which makes them loaded with meaning: you simply doubt whether the subject is the animal or its environment.
Be inspired by your journeys traveled, and the ones yet to come.
Never a destination, always a journey.
